Introduction

Frost death knight is a strong single target and a good aoe dps. It can burst and switch pretty quickly and can provide a little support to the raid (+20% melee haste). It starts out with strength stacking then in higher gear it is advised to go for armor penetration since the two top of your damaging spells (single target) is melee and obliterate.

Glyphs

1. Major

- Glyph of Obliterate Increases the damage of your Obliterate ability by 25%.

- Glyph of Frost Strike Reduces the cost of your Frost Strike by 8 Runic Power.

- Glyph of Disease Your Pestilence ability now refreshes disease durations and secondary effects of diseases on your primary target back to their maximum duration.

2. Minor

- Glyph of Pestilence Increases the radius of your Pestilence effect by 5 yards.

- Glyph of Raise Dead Your Raise Dead spell no longer requires a reagent.

- Glyph of Blood Tap Your Blood Tap no longer causes damage to you.

Weapon1 - Rune of the Fallen Crusader Affixes your rune weapon with a rune that has a chance to heal you for 3% and increase total Strength by 15% for 15 sec.

Weapon2 - Rune of Razorice Affixes your weapon with a rune that causes 2% extra weapon damage as Frost damage and increases enemies' vulnerability to your Frost attacks.

Belt - Eternal Belt Buckle +1 belt socket

Legs - Icescale Leg Armor +75 attack power +22 crit

Meta : Relentless Earthsiege Diamond +21 Agility and 3% Increased Critical Damage
Chaotic Skyflare Diamond +21 Critical Strike Rating and 3% Increased Critical Damage

Red : Bold Cardinal Ruby +20 strength or Fractured Cardinal Ruby +20 armor penetration

Yellow : Bold Cardinal Ruby +20 strength or Fractured Cardinal Ruby +20 armor penetration or even Inscribed Ametrine +10 strength +10 crit if you have armor penetration cap

Blue : Bold Cardinal Ruby +20 strength or Fractured Cardinal Ruby +20 armor penetration , 1x Nightmare Tear +10 all stats for the meta
(+1x Sovereign Dreadstone +10 strength +15 stamina if using the second meta)

Stat Priorities

1. Hit 8% (7% with draenei)

2. Expertise 26

3. Strength/Armor penetration if you can have your cap (1400) after that gem for strength

4. Crit

5. Haste

6. Agility you can only a small amount of crit from it, don't bother with this stat.

Professions

1. Jewelcrafting 3 big gems, +42 strength/armor penetration

2. Blacksmithing 2 extra sockets, +40 strength/armor penetration

3. Engineering +340 haste / min on gloves, Saronite Bombs as well are nice

4. Tailoring +400 attack power proc, +98 attack power on average
